For those of you bored with what you literally looks at for 8+ hours everyday:
 Rails Development with Beryl…

No it’s not Mac OS X (definitely not Windows XP!). It’s a Kubuntu Edgy running RadRails, among others (like the beloved shell, of course!).

If you happen to be not familiar with screens like the above… And you thought I Photoshopped some screens to get the above effect… Well I didn’t, so let me introduce you to my new best friend: Beryl.

Check out the Beryl in Action video to get you some more love!

Beryl runs in most Linux distros with a fairly decent graphics card (most later NVIDIA/ATI cards will do.) Should you happen to be an Ubuntu user, well it’s your lucky day cuz it’s quite easy to have it! Head on to Ubuntu guide to Beryl site to get your very own Beryl!
P.S.: It’s making me curious, an intimidating coincidence that Beryl’s logo is… let’s say, Ruby?
